TENTETS – “A Perfect 10”
A playlist by Bob Hecht
.
Dear Readers and Playlist Listeners:
…..We are going to add another instrument to our progressive playlist feature, and relish in what various arrangers have been able to accomplish writing for a tentet.
…..The playlist includes such diverse groups as the Anat Cohen Tentet, the Rob McConnell Tentet, the Uptown Jazz Tentet, the Mulligan Tentet and a slew of others that may be new discoveries for many listeners, as they were for me. They are all outstanding and have been carefully selected for their creative use of the decet format.
…..Enjoy these perfect ‘10’s!’
