“As Good As It Gets,” — a poem by Sheryl L. Nelms

studebaker

As Good As It Gets

I had them
all down
pat

from the winged
Studebaker

to the old
Henry J

the say ah
Cadillac

and even
the Lark

I knew my ’50’s cars

for miles
across Kansas

I could
name

every
one
